Comic finished!

I've so many things to do, homework to finish.. it's ridiculous! (Yet, fun, I can't help but to love love every setback I come to face).

I was totally convinced that the Study technique-essay (Study technique? Is that even the correct translation haha?) was due to 8th of October and when I found out it has to be finished and handed in this friday, I panicked.

I hade made this very colourful and pretty schedule over one week with scheduled time for studies and other activities (it was a part of the course criteria btw) and I felt so proud that I had finished it the other day, that was, until I found out we had to schedule the rest of the whole course, not just one week. That sucked so bad, so I've got a lot of work left to do.

I have, at least, finished my comic for the computer graphics course, I really had no ideas whatsoever, so I took one of my favourite jokes of all time and drew pictures of it.
It had to be made in Illustrator, a program which I'm not very familiar with. Simple navigation was easy due to it being quite similar to Photoshop, but one thing I really missed was some kind of overview or object map (I'm quite positive something like that exists in Illustrator, just that I couldn't find it.. hurr..durr..) which would allow me to see exactly every object I have made, and in what kind of, like, hierarchy they are. Would have made things a lot easier and more timesaving.. I bet it exists, if anyone knows, please tell me where to find such an option!

Oh, yeah, I'm gonna post the comic here of course:

Yeah, I just have to comment one thing about the comic now that I uploaded it and all... (noticed afterwards).
I know atoms doesn't look like that (durr....) but it was the only way I could incorporate the facial emotions I wanted to portray!

Have cold - will travel.

Still having a cold, just won't go away, sigh. Well, we're still going to Stockholm tomorrow and, as far as I know, we won't even get seats. That's cool I pay 4225:-/a month for my monthly ticket for commuting between Skövde and Katrineholm, but I won't even get a free seat-reservation on any other train. I really think I should be allowed a seat on most of their InterCity trains, if there is one. 4225kr is quite a lot of money, ah well. In half a year I will probably have reached their Black tier for SJ Prio which means free coffee. Free coffee is always cool!

I found a 5kr coin under my bed yesterday, and it made me really happy. Now I can start saving up money in my cattybank again. It was full and I emptied it and exchanged the money. It was fun.

Aw, I love cats. They're so cute, I'm sitting with mine in my lap right now, aw, just as I wrote that, he left. Sigh. Anyways, I think my boyfriend will be here any minute, and we're gonna watch Battlestar Galactica tonight, I actually think we might be finished even!

It's too late, I can haz sleep?

So, yay, the cold finally caught me and I'm sneezing, being cold and have headache like, most of the time. I can hardly force myself to read all the articles and chapters I must have read 'til thursday, 'cause my head hurts so much. OOHH POOOR MEEE I'M GONNA DIIIE right heeere riight nooow! .. yeah.. no.

So, I'm gonna do what I logged on for, upload the two doodlesketeches I drew during the game studies class.

It's a "vad" and his two dogs, one of them named Otis. That's cute, I like the name Otis, if I EVER will have a dog, it's gonna be called Otis, Döden or Otto. If I, no, when I, get more cats, they're gonna be named Lich King, Kel'Thuzad and/or Spock. Cool names eyh? Can imagine when Lich King pooped on the carpet again, or when Kel'Thuzad is sleeping in a box roasted-turkey style.

Oh, speaking of roasted turkey, I ordered a new 'book' (guess you could call it a comic more or less) a while ago:

Incredibly awesome and cutealistic drawings by this fantastic artist. Gotta love!

Oh, I can't wait 'til saturday when me and my dear boyfriend will go on a trip to Stockholm. We just have to pay a visit to Science-Fiction bokhandeln, and I'm gonna spend a lot of time in the Stockhome-stores as well as in Gray's American Stores.

Yeah, we all love american food, right?

I hate my neighbours (can't say that enough).

Aa haet ma naeboors (saying in cool Texas-style voice). They just CAN'T be quiet during the nights, we live under them and we have asked them to be more quiet after 11p.m. because, well, I need to sleep, mom needs to sleep and basically, their KIDS need to sleep too, but they keep waking us all up, them morons. They are totally quiet until approximately 00.00, that's when they 'wake up' from their slumber or something, because then, first the woman starts talking really loud, and then the man answers from like, the other side of their apartment which reslut in us hearing screams. As a result of them scream-talking to eachother, their youngest kid wakes up, a little baby. I don't like babies, and this one screams A LOT. Really loud and I can see why 'cause the baby obviously want to sleep during the night 'cause it's obviously tired from being a baby all day long and doing all sorts of baby-stuff like crawling and being disgusting. Either way, when their baby screams, their 4-5 year old kid wakes up and is, apparently, not in as dire need of sleep as the baby, but actually quite energetic and starts running back and forth in their hallway. Yay. So what do we have, four people making noices, LOUD, different noices usually between 00.00 - 03.00, then I either fall asleep (finally) or they give up and... falls asleep too, I don't know. (I think they're aliens).
So, we have asked them to be quiet serveral times but they obviously does not care, I'm dying to know that I have to deal with these neighbours for two more months, they really fuck up my studies.
This night I got approximately 4 hours of sleep, or I would have if I hadn't overslept and missed the train and slept some more(only had one class today so later trains was no option).
Conclusion: I hate them.

McZombie.

Ah, the drawing I said I would upload. There it is, it's some kind of McDonald's zombie, haha!

Kangaroos (and ships)!

This night, I dreamt of more kangaroo's. And a sinking ship, but that's nothing unusual. 20% of my dreams are random crap and the rest consists of ships, which I am on, which then sinks. And I fall into the dark, cold water but I think I usually survive, but I'm like, frightened to death haha! I don't know if I really believe there's subconscious messages in dreams, but if so be it, I'm gonna look up what sinking ships means right now!

Okay so this is what it says on some random site:

Sinking
To dream that you or something is sinking implies that you feel overpowered by a situation, issue, or person. You may harbour emotions of unworthiness and unimportance. It is possible that you may be reaching the conclusion of a phase or period in your life. Pay attention to the item that is sinking and determine the symbolism of this item.

Okay, I'm gonna look up the specific word "ship".

To dream that a ship crashed or is sinking denotes that you feel unable to manage a certain part of your life. You may feel scared or hesitant about your feelings pertaining to a person or event. The thought of something or someone important to you slipping away is filling you with fear.

.. okaaay, cool, I'm like super emo and scared. Cool.

Skipping to the next subject.

Had a fun computer graphics class today which I spent drawing, gonna post the outcome of that when I've taken a photo of it.
Wwhich event stands out the most today is when I mistook some people for some of my classmates.
An ugly comic follows, in the style of Hyperbole and a Half (which is one of the funniest and best blogs I've ever read, I love it, I really LOVE IT! I especially love the 'alot' post.. yeah!)

So this is what happened, more or less.

Oh, and my lovely laptop bag!

Pictuuuuhr of eeeet!

A normal day in a 'weird' person's life.

Today!

On the train:
Nothing funny happened on the train except for the man sitting at the opposite of the table in front of me. It started to smell reaaaally rotten so I jumped to the conclusion he had eaten some bad food and was farting. WHY does people always fart when they're around me, gah.. always me.
Either way he got tired of farting in my presence (or he just simply wanted some seats of his own) so he switched seats half-way through the trip. Farting-switchman!

In school:
Hm... I was late as usual, SJ doesn't seem to care about whether people are in time for work or school, as long as they get their money for expensive seat reservation and a can of Coca-Cola Zero for 20kr. I laid my eyes on a weird tunnel at the end of platform 2 which I think might lead me in the right direction (school)... that might be my shortcut to success!!! I'm gonna try it out tomorrow and hope it won't lead me to some weird underground dungeon where all the hobo's live, err...
So back to where I was, I was late for my first class in, what could you call it, study techniques? Boring class as hell, also note that the woman talking for like two hours about how important it is to schedule your time, actually extended the class by 10 minutes so she could fit in all she had to say. Yeah about that.

Oh, I also heard that a teacher assumed the students at my program are "weird people" (hence the headline). That's amazing, I like weirdo's!

At home:
As my boyfriend got here we logged on to WoW as usual and ran a quick MGT heroic for the mount. Of course it finally dropped. Of course he won it. Aw.... We did ZG and Karazhan aswell, and with some help from Linus, Sethekk Halls heroic.
Mountfarm, mountfarm, mountfarm. Especially the ZG ones are important now that they are going to remove the instance, aw!
I've mostly given up on the Baron Rivendare's mount, I've killed him about a hundred times and no horsie. 'Look at my horse, my horse is non-existent'. Funny.

I could actually post a comic about my runs in Strat, made by Linus. I don't think he would mind, he doesn't even read my blog!

I like minesweeper!

At some times, I think the game minesweeper is based on the relations you have with people in your surroundings in real life. I, for one, can see myself in a situation where what ever wrong step I take, someone in my surroundings get mad or blown off (offended) by my mistake. It’s like, if I only hang out with one person, all my focus for the moment is on that person and that person only. There’s no one else around me to pay attention to, which makes it easier for me to learn what this person I am with likes and dislikes, and how far I can go before that person is pissed off. With more and more people around me, it’s harder to concentrate on what exactly each one of them need, and saying something, or doing something wrong may offend someone since I haven’t had the opportunity and time to get to know that person good enough because so many others around me crave attention as well.
For that reason, I prefer hanging out with fewer (nice) people rather than a lot of (half-nice) people!

New hair.

I guess I'll have to update my userpic now since I've recoloured my hair.
Now I look like a crossover between hay and carrot. Cool!
Although, I actually like it since the red/orange colour turned out just the way I wanted.
Three bleachings and one colouring and I was done!
I would need to cut my fringe aswell, but can't be arsed right now.

It's this time of the month where it feels like the lower part of my stomach is going to be wrecked, uhuuuu, hurts so much!

I'm a woman!

I don't have time for digital paintings anymore! Well, I do, but I keep having my sketchpad with me more often now, than before.
It's such a tiny sketchpad, A5, so it doesn't take up a lot of space.
Sometimes it gets a bit bumpy on the train, and whatever straight line you are trying to achieve by drawing just gets screwed over totally by the bumps. I like that, brings a little excitement to the otherwise deliberately boring trip.

Class today was as exciting and fun as always (all this happy and positive talking about the school this far kind of freaks me out, do I really feel this way or am I just trying to convince myself that's how I feel? Joke aside, I really like it there and for once, the tasks you get are fun! Really fun!)
Today we've learned about alpha channel-this and alpha-channel-that and a lot of other stuff which I'm afraid I don't remember a bit of unless check the notes I took to refresh my memory.
Too bad I always miss the 09.47 train home, I have to wait to 11.47 for the next one. Today I decided to take a walk to Rusta to pass some time, and a bunch of classmates joined me.
We spent like, 30 minutes walking in the totally wrong (well, almost totally wrong) direction (might have been my fault, tee hee!) so when we finally figured out where Rusta actually was located I only had very few minutes to find what I needed and get the hell out of there.
I bought two cute carpets and then I jogged (more or less) back to the train station. It was such a looooong way to walk/jog, I'm never gonna walk to Rusta again, EVER! I'd rather waste some money on a busride than walk again. I hate walking from now on. Yes. Especially when all you've eaten that day was an egg-sandwich at 6 a.m.

Conclusion: Bus > walking. Always.

Rovaniemi IP.

I don't think I've ever doodled so much during class and STILL learn/listen so much!
Owh, I almost forgot what it was I wanted to write about.
Mom thinks I should save money to buy a better TV when I move out but I don't know... she's got a point because the one I've got now really sucks, can hardly play any Xbox-games on it 'cause the text is too small, it's basically only good for retro consoles (which I own quite a few of, so no problem!). But there is one THING (among all other "things") that are unnecessary to own but still I CRAVE to do so (!!!) and that is a telescope. Nothing fancy really, I'm nothing but a novice, but one good enough for me. I just have to save up some money to buy one. Screw TV, screw everything else, like.. carp.. no not the carpets, I still want carpets also, especially red/white striped ones... but screw eating fancy food for a year or so, I can eat canned baby corn all day long if so be it, I must have a telescope!
So dear Santa, if you're reading my blog (which I assume you are, not that smart surfing from Rovaniemi) GET ME A FRACKING TELESCOPE FOR CHRISTMAS!
Arigatou!

Gonna go pick up my laptopbag now I think, hopefully my lovely patch will arrive as early as tomorrow so I can mod the bag to my liking!
(Hint: (fake) leather + BSG patch = .......... I came.)

Joss and the military midget!

Yay, once again I am an happy student, studying and being all happy-go-lucky!
No, but, really, I still am excited even though school has started and everything with it. Had our first lecture in computer graphics today, it was pretty much MEH all the way through, haha! Our teacher, if that is the correct term to use, was almost, what felt like, a bit shy? He liked to pause a lot, and I mean, A LOT. But I think he's cool, he taught us that a pixel is a square (no way?) and that it's short for picture element (something I actually did not know, to be honest). We're also taking a course in game studies parallel to the computer graphics course, where we were told to play some card game called Liar! which I, unfortunately, have never heard of. Checked it up on the internet and it looked pretty simple and fun, too bad my boyfriend is working late this week 'cause now I have noone to play it with!

Anyways, I have to write this story down, it was something that happened today at the train station and I just don't want to forget about it ever, haha 'cause it was so odd.

I'm sitting at a bench at the train station and I'm reading my book, it's like, cold there and I'm quite bored. A tiny, tiny man in military clothing, carrying a huuuge backpack with military stuff, walks towards me. He's incredibly short, which makes it all so much funnier 'cause he, as a person, looked very funny and misplaced in those (manly) clothes he was sporting. Oh, he also wore glasses, and I'm not saying that as a bad thing or anything 'cause glasses are cool and can look pretty good if they are of the right geometry to it's wearer's face, but he had those huge glasses that you think just can't be that very convenient while doing military service.
Basically, he looked funny.
Anyways, he walks towards me, I make accidental eye contact with the guy and as a result of that, I put on a smile 'cause I've heard I can look quite grumpy when I have my natural face on.
He walks past me by, like, one feet and then he makes a very sudden stop, bends over so much that his head almost touches his feet, and he FARTS SO DAMN LOUD I ALMOST SHAT MY PANTS. He stands there, shaking his butt towards me and FARTS for what felt like an eternity (but I think it was more like 3-4 seconds)!
He then shakes his butt a bit more, stretches his back, and casually walks away, leaving me on the bench with nothing but a WTF all over my face.

Ha! Hahaha... haha!
